WELCOME TO THIRD BAPTIST CHURCH
A LIGHTHOUSE to the COMMUNITY
We're an independent, Fundamental Baptist Church in the heart of South Philadelphia, bringing the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from the King James Bible. We welcome you to join us for Sunday School and Worship Services on Sundays, and Prayer Meeting and Bible Study on Wednesday evenings.
If you're a like-minded, Bible-believing Christian living in South Philly and the surrounding area and you're seeking a church to call home, please pay us a visit. We welcome travelers who are visiting Philadelphia and seeking a place to worship our Lord while in our great city.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Third Baptist Church continues to preach and teach the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ in South Philadelphia for more than two centuries. Founed in 1819, our mission is to continue to glorify our Savior until He calls His Church home!
Our youth are the future of the church and its our responsibility to teach them scripturally to follow Jesus Christ.
SERVICES
We're here for worship services every Sunday, as well as Prayer Meeting and Bible Study on Wednesday Evenings.
